Soon to be "Elder N."

I took a few photos today of this handsome young man who will soon be leaving to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm sure his mom will love having these photos to look at for the two years that he will be gone!

Finding Time for Each Other

I love photos that tell the real stories about people, and I love being the type of photographer that can provide an environment that gives families a chance to just be normal and relaxed. I love this photo of the kiss becuase it reminds me that parents can find time for a soft touch no matter what! ( In this case during a horsie ride and soothing a fussy baby.)

This family of boys loves to wrestle and "rough house" together, so I thought it was fun to just let them do their things while I did mine!

I liked this last photos a lot (even though it's "posed") because it just seems like a "Happy Family made in Heaven" with it's bright, soft, happy look to it. Such cute photos! Thanks for letting me "share your story" , Ali!

Luann's Grandkids (yes, MORE!...I just had to!)

I love the look on big sisters face in this first one... It's the closest we got to the "pouty look" grandma wanted to capture. I love the one with her and the baby, she is a very caring sister! (and very mothering!) The last two are just a couple nice portaits I thought grandma and mom would enjoy taking a peak at!

Luann's Grandkids

This little princess was so much fun to photograph, and was such a good girl during her session. Her little brother had a rough time of it, but you'd never know it by how cute his photos turned out. His mom was so patient and so calm, I was very proud of her! And big sister was happy to have lots of photos taken of her while baby brother took breaks for eating and snuggling. What cute grandkids! Thanks for making time for a photo session while they were in town Luann!

Tiny Toes

I am such a "baby feet freak", and have been wanting to do this particular pose for a long time. I love these photos for several reasons. First, I love the symbolism. Second, I love how it gives a real idea to the viewer of just how tiny these little feet are. Third, I love thinking of the mother looking down at her ring a few months down the road, and having sweet memories of her little baby and how small she was. Being able to help the mother keep a memory like that- is the reason I do what I do. I had to put the "monkey toes" one on here of the baby gripping the rings with her toes. I think that is just so adorable. I love baby feet!
